St Andrews University Library Catalogue
SAULCAT contains detailed information on all books in the Library system
which were published after 1972, as well as many earlier items.
Detailed HELP is available through the MAIN MENU. New users should consult
the GENERAL INTRODUCTION before proceeding to the MAIN MENU.
SAULCAT --- General Introduction
--------------------------------
The information on SAULCAT is intended to be comprehensive for
-- all material published after 1972
-- all material acquired after 1981 irrespective of date of publication
-- most other material in heavy demand.
Searches on SAULCAT are conducted through a MAIN MENU containing 9 options.
OPTION 8 gives a comprehensive HELP service explaining the various search
strategies which are available.
When you have finished searching you should end your session by returning
to the MAIN MENU and choosing OPTION 9.
If you are connected to SAULCAT from outside St Andrews through JANET you
will also need to break the connection in the manner prescribed by your
local system.
